Wolfsburg have agreed a deal to sign Denmark international forward Jesper Lindstrom from Napoli on loan with an option to buy.

The 24-year-old has been link with a move to Antonio Conte’s plans. After failing to impress in Italy and on loan at Everton last season.

Wolfsburg will pay 1.5 million euros for a one-season loan with an option to buy for 16 million euros plus a bonus of 2 million euros.
Lindstrom has been clear to travel for a medical and is set to sign an official contract.
Napoli previously signed Lindstrom from Eintracht Frankfurt for €30 million in the summer of 2023. But his performances have not been up to par. With him making 29 appearances without scoring or providing a single assist.
As for Wolfsburg, Lindstrøm become the club’s latest high profile signing following the arrival of Vinicius Souza from Sheffield United for €15m. VfL are also working on a deal to sign Norwich City attacker Josh Sargent for €20m.
